Andrew P. Whiteley

Executive in Residence, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Office of Technology Transfer
Since 2016, Andrew has served as the first Executive in Residence for the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Office of Technology Transfer. In this role, he helps CSHL scientists launch and manage new enterprises that make the benefits of biomedical innovation available to the public. In this capacity, Andrew serves new CSHL spinout companies, such as Marvel Genomics, in roles ranging from consultant to director.
Andrew has more than 30 years of experience in the life sciences, having served as CEO of biotech companies InforMax Inc. and Vitra Biosciences. Prior to joining CSHL, he was Chief Operating Officer and VP Business Development at Enzo Biochem. He earned his BS degree in chemistry and biochemistry from England’s University of Nottingham.
